Teck Chi Wong is a PhD Candidate at the School of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Queensland, a research assistant at the Tax and Transfer Policy Institute at the Crawford School of the Australian National University (ANU) and a member of the advisory committee of the ANU Malaysia Institute. His PhD project examines the rise of government-linked investment companies in Malaysia as state financialisation processes.
