Meredith Weiss is Professor of Political Science in the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy at the University at Albany, State University of New York (SUNY), and Director of the SUNY/CUNY Southeast Asia Consortium. Her research addresses issues of social mobilization and civil society, collective identity, electoral politics, governance, and institutional reform in Southeast Asia, particularly Malaysia and Singapore.
