Dr Luke Woon (M.D., University of North Sumatera, Indonesia; Doctor of Psychiatry, National University of Malaysia) is a psychiatrist and lecturer at the Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, The National University of Malaysia. He began his PhD at the Australian National University in 2022 under the joint sponsorship of the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia and the National University of Malaysia. In his career, Dr Woon has accumulated experience in the design and implementation of clinical research. He has published more than 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals, including articles in high-impact journals. Among his research interests are the delivery of mental health services, psychiatric epidemiology, and the association between psychiatric illness and medical conditions.
