Dr. Mohd Azizuddin Mohd Sani
Professor Dr. Mohd Azizuddin Mohd Sani specialises in the fields of politics and international relations. He is known as an expert in political theory, human rights, freedom of expression, media politics, democratisation and Malaysian politics. He was graduated with Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Politics and International Relations from Keele University, United Kingdom in 2007. He is now Professor of Politics and International Relations at the School of International Studies, Universiti Utara Malaysia since 2016. He is also a Visiting Adjunct Professor for the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Taylor’s University, Malaysia and Thinker of Political Science for Institut Darul Ridzuan, Perak. Prof. Azizuddin is a columnist for Berita Harian and Sin Chew Jit Poh. He used to be a Consultant for the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (SUHAKAM), Visiting Fellow at the Yusof Ishak-ISEAS, Singapore and Visiting Professor at the National Institute of Development and Administration (NIDA), Bangkok, Thailand. He has 23 years’ experiences as academic, researchers and public advocator.
