Panellists

Esther McVicar - Esther is a Program Risk Advisor at Kiah Consulting, where she utilises her expertise to analyse and manage potential risks. In addition to her professional work, Esther is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Regulation and Governance at the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific.

Asha Clementi - Asha is the Founder and CEO of Girls Run the World (GRTW), an annual program that empowers young women to connect with the diplomatic community. Her remarkable achievements have earned her the distinguished title of 2022 ACT Young Woman of the Year, a testament to her dedication and hard work. She holds a Bachelor of International Security Studies and a Master's degree in Diplomacy from the College of Asia and the Pacific.

Tanja Russell - Tanja is a PhD candidate at the ANU. She works at the ANU Institute for Climate, Energy and Disaster Solutions, contributing to projects examining climate adaptation in the agriculture sector of the Pacific. She has also worked in policy positions at the Murray-Darling Basin Authority and Australian Fisheries Management Authority. Prior to her doctoral studies, Tanja completed a Master's degree in Climate Change at the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific.

Jayne Fendyk - Jayne works as Assistant Director at the Australian Government Department of Education. Prior to her current position, Jayne worked as a Senior Policy Officer in the same department, where she gained extensive experience in policy development and implementation. In addition to her professional work, Jayne is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Asian and Pacific Studies at the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific.
